Statutory Approvals

AICTE approval covers the engineering and management programmes such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and BBA, while pharmacy programmes such as B.Pharm and D.Pharm follow Pharmacy Council of India norms. These approvals are renewed every academic year, and students should check the current approval on the official portals of the councils. The seat intake of each programme, such as about 600 seats in B.Tech, about 120 in MBA and about 100 in B.Pharm, is fixed under these approvals. University Affiliation

The institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal for its technical programmes, and with Barkatullah University, Bhopal for programmes such as B.Sc and other non-technical courses. The affiliating university prescribes the syllabus, conducts examinations and awards degrees. This affiliation makes the degrees widely accepted in Madhya Pradesh and across India for jobs, competitive examinations and postgraduate admission.

The institute has not published a national NIRF rank on its official channels, and prospective students should not depend on unofficial ranking lists. A better way to judge quality is to compare practical parameters such as faculty experience, laboratory facilities, placement outcomes, alumni network, student feedback and industry interaction. When comparing PIMR with other colleges in Bhopal, students should look at the branch they wish to study, the total cost, the results of the last batch and the environment on the campus. For example, B.Tech Computer Science has a total fee of about Rs. 2.88 lakh, while Civil, Electrical and Mechanical branches cost about Rs. 1.4 lakh, so a student can select a branch according to both interest and budget.
