Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (PIMSRC), established in 2002, is one of Kerala's first and most respected private medical colleges. Managed by the Pushpagiri Medical Society under the Catholic Church and located in Tiruvalla, Pathanamthitta district, the institution was founded with the mission 'to work towards a Knowledge Society with life in abundance, through Science and Technology, improving Health Care for our immediate community, the state, the country and the world at large.' Affiliated with KUHS and recognized by NMC, the college holds Christian Minority status. PIMSRC offers 100 MBBS seats annually, 65 MD/MS seats across 19 PG departments, and super-specialty DM/MCh seats in 4 disciplines (DM Nephrology, DM Neurology, DM Cardiology, MCh Neurosurgery). Its Research Centre, established in 2010, strengthens academic research. The attached 1200-bedded hi-tech tertiary care hospital features 14 operation theatres, advanced ICUs, fully automated laboratories, and round-the-clock emergency services.
