Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), established in 2012, is a premier private medical college located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, managed by the Lord Buddha Education Society. Affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC), RIMS operates with the global mission of 'Health for All'. The institute offers an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats and 57 PG (MD/MS) seats in various clinical and non-clinical specializations. Spread over approximately 25 acres, the campus features smart classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, two WiFi-enabled air-conditioned libraries, a 750-bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital, and dedicated hostels for male and female students. The total MBBS fee under the State Quota is approximately ₹37.46 Lakhs for the entire 5.5-year course (including internship year). Under the Management Quota it is approximately ₹44 Lakhs. Under NRI Quota, it is USD 35,000 per year. Hostel and mess charges are additional at approximately ₹2 Lakhs per year.
RIMS Raipur has an annual intake of 150 MBBS seats. Of these, 15% (approx. 23 seats) go under All India Quota and 85% (approx. 127 seats) are filled via Chhattisgarh State Quota counselling conducted by CGDME, Raipur.
Yes, RIMS Raipur has separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys' hostel has 173 rooms accommodating 350 students, and the girls' hostel has 151 rooms accommodating 300 students.
