Located on a 26-acre campus at Kisaan Degree College Road, Bahraich – 271801, it is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow (previously KGMU Lucknow), and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC, LOP dated 29-May-2019). With 100 MBBS seats, GMC Bahraich is the only medical college in Bahraich district — serving one of UP's most underserved districts near the Nepal border.
