Admission to REVA University follows different routes depending on the programme and faculty. For B.Tech admissions, candidates need to have cleared 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics, and must hold a valid score in KCET, COMEDK UGET, REVA CET or JEE Main. Karnataka-domicile students typically enter through KCET counselling for government-quota seats, while COMEDK UGET and REVA CET serve as additional routes, and management or NRI-quota seats are filled through the university's own direct-admission process. For the Bachelor of Architecture programme, applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate marks and a valid score in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2.

Admission Process at REVA University
Management programmes such as the MBA admit students on the basis of REVA MAT, CAT, MAT or CMAT scores, typically followed by a group discussion or personal interview round conducted by the respective school. Admission to the five-year integrated law degrees requires a valid CLAT score or a qualifying result in REVA CET (Law), along with 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks. Postgraduate engineering (M.Tech) admissions are largely driven by GATE scores or the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test, while the MCA programme considers a candidate's undergraduate background in computer applications or a related discipline with mathematics. Doctoral admissions go through the REVA University Ph.D. Entrance Test (REVA PET), or accept an equivalent qualifying score such as UGC-NET or GATE, followed by a written test and an interview before provisional registration.
- Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent) mark sheets and passing certificates
- Valid entrance exam scorecard (KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main/REVA CET/CAT/MAT/CMAT/CLAT/NATA/GATE, as applicable)
- Transfer certificate and migration certificate
- Category/caste validity certificate, where applicable
- Domicile certificate (for Karnataka state-quota seats)
- Passport-size photographs and identity proof
Once a seat is allotted, candidates are required to report to the university with original documents for verification and to complete the admission formalities, including fee payment. International applicants and NRI-quota candidates follow a parallel process coordinated through REVA's International Admissions cell, which handles equivalence certification of prior qualifications, visa-related documentation support, and orientation for students arriving from outside India. Direct or management-quota admission, where offered, is handled separately from the entrance-exam counselling routes, and candidates opting for this route should still ensure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria laid down for the programme, since a management seat does not override the basic academic eligibility bar set for a course. Applicants are encouraged to review the current-year fee structure and available financial-assistance options well in advance of applying; details on the scholarship schemes offered can help students plan their admission budget more accurately, particularly since scholarship benefits are usually applied against the tuition component of the fee rather than hostel or one-time charges.
