RNT Medical College, Udaipur (officially Rabindranath Tagore Medical College) is one of Rajasthan's premier government medical institutions, established in 1961 and named after Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Located in the heart of Udaipur at Court Chowk — the city's prime healthcare area — the college is affiliated with Marwar Medical University, Jodhpur (from AY 2025-26; previously RUHS), and is approved by the NMC. With 250 MBBS seats, 92 PG degree seats across 22 disciplines, 12 PG diploma seats, and DM Cardiology, RNT is among the most comprehensive government medical colleges in Rajasthan. The college is attached to five hospitals including Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital (1,306 beds), Pannadhay Zanana Hospital (440 beds), and TB & Chest Hospital (260 beds), totalling 2,000+ teaching beds and 3,150+ daily OPD patients. The 57-acre campus includes gallery-type lecture halls, a skills lab, a central library, departmental museums, and separate UG, PG, and intern hostels. NIRF ranked 82nd in medical colleges in 2024.
