Admission Process at Saintgits Institute of Management

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
  • Bachelor's degree mark sheets and provisional/final degree certificate
  • Valid CAT/CMAT/KMAT Kerala scorecard
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Category/caste validity certificate, where applicable
  • Passport-size photographs

Candidates offered a seat must report to the institute with original documents for verification and complete admission formalities, including fee payment. Applicants should also review the in advance and check available options before confirming admission.

The five-year Integrated MBA follows a separate, Class 12-based admission process with its own entrance/merit criteria, while the Ph.D. in Management and Fellow Programme in Management require a qualifying master's degree, a NET or equivalent research entrance score, and an interview with the Doctoral Committee at SIM's KTU-recognized Research Centre. Details on category-wise cutoff expectations are available on the cutoff page.

Because SIM relies on institute-level GD/PI rather than a centralized state or all-India counselling body, application timelines can vary somewhat from year to year, and prospective candidates are advised to track the official admissions portal closely once a fresh admission cycle opens, typically toward the end of the calendar year for the following academic session. Candidates are also encouraged to prepare a genuine, well-articulated Statement of Purpose, since the interview panel places meaningful weight on clarity of career goals and fit with the specific MBA specialization chosen, whether that is General MBA, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or the Integrated MBA route for Class 12 pass-outs.

Work experience, while not mandatory for the MBA (Regular) or MBA-LSCM programmes, is considered favourably during the merit evaluation and can strengthen a candidate's overall profile at the GD/PI stage. Candidates applying under reserved categories should carry valid, current category and income certificates as applicable, since these documents affect both eligibility relaxations and access to scholarship schemes reviewed at the time of admission. Applicants are advised to keep scanned and physical copies of all mark sheets, entrance scorecards, and identity documents ready well before the shortlisting results are announced, to avoid last-minute delays during document verification.
