Admission to the BAMS programme requires candidates to qualify NEET-UG and then participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) run by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Eighty-five percent of state quota seats are filled purely on NEET-UG merit with applicable reservation, while the remaining 15% All India Quota seats are filled through AACCC counselling, open to eligible NRI, OCI, and Outside-Maharashtra-State candidates as well. Postgraduate MD (Ayu) admission follows a similar state-level online choice-filling process based on AIAPGET scores, and candidates must have completed their BAMS internship before applying.

Admission Process - BAMS & MD (Ayu)
- NEET-UG (or AIAPGET for PG) mark list and admit card
- SSC and HSC passing certificates/mark lists
- Domicile and Nationality certificate
- Caste certificate and, where applicable, caste validity and non-creamy-layer certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- College leaving certificate and migration certificate
- Aadhar card and passport-size photographs
- For PG: BAMS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, and MCIM/State registration proof
