Required Entrance Exams

GPAT / CUET PG / State-level M.Pharm entrance exam

Eligibility Criteria
B.Pharm with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) from a PCI/AICTE-approved institution; valid GPAT or state entrance score
Admission Process
M.Pharm admission is through UPTAC counselling conducted by AKTU based on GPAT score or university entrance test. Candidates must register at uptac.admissions.nic.in, submit preferences for specialisation (Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics), and attend document verification and counselling rounds.

UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) based on 10+2 merit / CUET score

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCM or PCB, minimum 50% marks from a recognised board
Admission Process
B.Pharm admission is conducted through UPTAC, managed by AKTU Lucknow. Candidates must register online at uptac.admissions.nic.in, upload documents, fill institute and branch preferences, and participate in up to 4 main rounds plus an internal sliding round. A registration fee of ₹1,000 is required. Seat acceptance fee is ₹20,000 for General/OBC and ₹12,000 for SC/ST. 85% seats are filled through UPTAC; 15% Management Quota seats are filled at the institute level.

BTE UP Counselling based on 10+2 merit

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics from a recognised board; minimum passing marks as per PCI norms
Admission Process
D.Pharm admission is conducted through BTE UP counselling. Candidates apply through the BTE UP portal based on 10+2 merit. Lateral entry to D.Pharm (2nd year) is available for candidates who have passed a 3-year Diploma in Pharmacy or 2-year Lateral Entry Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
