The college was established in 2021 by the Merchant Charitable Trust on the Merchant Education Campus located on the Mehsana–Visnagar Highway at Piludara, Mehsana district, Gujarat.

The college is affiliated with Shri Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan, and is also in process for recognition from the Department of AYUSH with Gujarat Ayurved University (GAU), Jamnagar. It holds a 2nd Renewal of Permission from NCISM (Institute ID: AYU0843).

The NCISM-sanctioned intake is 100 seats per academic year for the BAMS programme (2nd Renewal of Permission, AY 2025-26), one of the larger intakes among newer private Ayurveda colleges in North Gujarat.
