Need-Based Scholarship

Economically weaker MMS students can apply for the institute's Need-Based Scholarship, which considers family income alongside academic performance and offers financial assistance ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 25,000 per annum, helping offset part of the Tuition and Development Fee approved by the Fee Regulating Authority.

Alumni Scholarship

Sponsored by SIMSR's alumni network, the Alumni Scholarship provides Rs. 10,000 per annum to deserving students selected on the basis of academic performance combined with extracurricular and co-curricular contribution, reflecting the institute's active alumni engagement through SIMAA and the SASMIRA Alumni Foundation.

Government Scholarships

Eligible SC/ST/OBC/EWS and minority-community students at SIMSR can additionally apply for Government of Maharashtra post-matric and Economically Backward Class (EBC) scholarship schemes through the state's MahaDBT portal, subject to the income and category criteria notified each year by the respective departments.

Applicants should confirm current eligibility and required documentation with the admission office at the time of joining, since scholarship amounts, eligibility thresholds and application windows are reviewed and updated periodically by both the institute and the relevant government authorities.
