10+2/HSC with PCB and English; minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST; 45% OBC); minimum age 17 years as on December 31; valid NEET UG score; SSC from Maharashtra institution (for state quota); medically fit
Admission Process
MBBS admissions via two routes — (A) 15% AIQ via MCC (mcc.nic.in): register, fill choices including GSMC, seat allotment based on NEET rank, download allotment letter, report with originals. (B) 85% Maharashtra State Quota via CET Cell Maharashtra (cetcell.mahacet.org): register, upload documents, fill preferences, seat allotment across Rounds 1, 2, Mop-up, Stray Vacancy. Documents required: NEET UG admit card + scorecard, allotment letter, HSC (12th) certificate and marksheet, SSC (10th) certificate (DOB), domicile/nationality certificate, caste + validity certificate (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), Aadhar/PAN/passport, 8 passport-size photographs, medical fitness certificate, transfer/migration certificate, gap certificate on ₹100 stamp paper (if applicable). Fee by DD in favour of 'Dean, Seth GS Medical College, Parel, Mumbai 400012.' No management/NRI/donation seats — zero capitation.

Important Notice

NEET UG 2026 scheduled May 3, 2026. NEET UG 2025 AIQ Round 1 closing rank: General = ~868; Round 2 = ~1,126; OBC = ~3,703; SC = ~18,686. Maharashtra SQ 2025 General Round 1 = ~1,361. NEET UG 2024 AIQ General Round 1 = ~1,050; Maharashtra SQ 2024 General range = 2,120–3,689. Service Bond (GR MED 1007/CR-490/07/Ed-2 dated 8 Feb 2008): 1-year compulsory government service after internship. Since GR MED 1021/C.R.128/21 (2022): rural service is mandatory for scholarship holders — cannot be substituted by payment. Non-scholarship default penalty: ₹10,00,000 (non-refundable). PwD: 5% horizontal; Women: 30% horizontal in government colleges; EWS: 10% reservation.

Admission Process
Super Specialty (DM/M.Ch) admissions via NEET SS centralized counselling by MCC/NBE. 60 seats across 17 disciplines. GSMC-KEM is one of India's premier super specialty training centres with 17 NMC-approved DM/M.Ch programs.

Important Notice

NEET SS 2025 cutoffs available via MCC. SS stipend per DMER Maharashtra norms. SS bond: 1 year compulsory service; penalty ₹50,00,000 for default.

Admission Process
(A) 50% AIQ via MCC NEET PG counselling (mcc.nic.in) — Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 (Mop-up), Stray Vacancy; (B) 50% Maharashtra State Quota via CET Cell Maharashtra. 50% of PG Diploma seats in government/corporation colleges reserved for in-service MCGM/Maharashtra government doctors. Documents: NEET PG allotment letter, MBBS degree + all professional marksheets, internship completion certificate, MCI/State Council registration, attempt certificate, domicile certificate, caste/EWS certificate, PAN/Aadhar, 5 photographs, medical fitness, employment/bond release certificate (if applicable).

NEET PG 2026 scheduled August 30, 2026. NEET PG 2024 KEM Mumbai: MD General Medicine AIQ closing rank = 127 (General) — India's most competitive government hospital for MD General Medicine. PG stipend: Year 1 ₹55,000/month, Year 2 ₹65,000/month, Year 3 ₹75,000/month per DMER Maharashtra. PG bond: 1-year compulsory service after PG; default penalty ₹50,00,000.
