Admission Process
All PG seats (MD Ayu and MS Ayu) are filled exclusively through AACCC counselling. Candidates must qualify AIAPGET and register on the AACCC portal for PG AYUSH counselling.

SJGAMC Koppal Admissions 2025-26 – BAMS and PG Ayurveda

BAMS Admission Process

For the BAMS programme, candidates must first qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA. Following the result, 85% of seats are filled through Karnataka AYUSH Counselling conducted by KEA (kea.kar.nic.in), while the remaining 15% All India Quota seats are filled by AACCC (aaccc.gov.in). Candidates registered for KEA counselling must complete online registration, pay the prescribed registration fee, undergo document verification at KEA Bangalore, fill college preferences, and report to the allotted college after seat allotment with original documents and the first-year fee. Eligibility Criteria for BAMS

  • 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects in both Class 11 and 12
  • Minimum 50% marks in PCB aggregate for General/OBC candidates; 40% for SC/ST; 45% for PwD
  • Minimum age: 17 years as of 31 December of the year of admission
  • Valid NEET UG score in the qualifying percentile (50th percentile for General; 40th for SC/ST/OBC; 45th for PwD)
  • Indian National, OCI, PIO, or Foreign National as per NEET eligibility guidelines

PG Admission Process (MD Ayu / MS Ayu)

All PG seats in MD (Ayu) and MS (Ayu) at SJGAMC Koppal are filled exclusively through AACCC (AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee) centralised counselling. Candidates must qualify AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test) conducted by NTA/NBE. Following the result, AACCC releases the counselling schedule; candidates register on the AACCC portal, fill preferences for specialisations, and receive allotment based on AIAPGET rank. Eligibility requires a BAMS degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks and completion of the mandatory one-year compulsory internship. Candidates should review available scholarships that may offset PG programme costs.
