Shrimant Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Medical College (SRVSMCS), Shivpuri, established in 2018 and commonly known as GMC Shivpuri, is a full-fledged tertiary government medical college in Shivpuri district, Madhya Pradesh. Named after Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, the institution is affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (MPMSU), Jabalpur, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Spread across a 54.36-acre campus on the Main Gwalior Highway near Katha Mill, GMC Shivpuri admits 100 MBBS students annually. The campus features state-of-the-art infrastructure including spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, an auditorium, library, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The attached District Government Hospital Shivpuri is a 300-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital (being upgraded to 600 beds) with medicine, surgery, paediatrics, OBG, ENT, ophthalmology, and orthopaedics departments.
