The BAMS programme is 5 years and 6 months in total, comprising three Professional Years of 18 months each, followed by a 12-month compulsory rotatory internship.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 / PUC with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCB, and must qualify NEET-UG as per applicable Government regulations.

A minimum of 15% of the sanctioned seats are reserved as All India Quota, counselled by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). The remaining seats (including State Quota and Management/NRI seats) are counselled by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
