Founded by Dr. D.N. Mishra (Founder Chairman) and Mr. Vidya Nidhi Mishra (Chairman), SVGI was inspired by the vision of their father, Late Shri Daya Nidhi Mishra. The college is situated at Gora Machhiya, Kanpur Road, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, and is spread over a 2-acre campus. Smt. Vidyawati College of Pharmacy is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, for its B.Pharm and M.Pharm programs, and with UP State Board of Technical Education (BTEUP), Lucknow, for the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
