The college offers 150 MBBS seats and MD/MS postgraduate programmes. The attached SNIMS Hospital is a 750-bedded multi-specialty facility with 80–90% occupancy, housing advanced specialties including Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Urology, and Paediatric Surgery. 750-Bedded Multi-Specialty Teaching Hospital
SNIMS Hospital is a 750-bedded multi-specialty tertiary care teaching hospital with 80–90% occupancy. It houses general and super-specialty departments including Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Urology, and Paediatric Surgery, along with 24x7 emergency and ICU facilities.

SNIMS was established in 2009 by the Gurudeva Charitable Trust (GCT), a philanthropic body of devoted followers of Sree Narayana Guru — the great Kerala saint and social reformer. It is the first medical college founded by the Gurudeva Charitable Trust and was set up to honour his teachings of compassion, equality, and service.
SNIMS offers 150 MBBS seats per year, divided as: 75 Government/State Quota (50%), approximately 53 Management Quota (35%), and approximately 22 NRI Quota (15%), as per NMC and Kerala Government norms.
The annual MBBS fee at SNIMS is approximately ₹6.60 lakh per year for Government Quota (total ~₹33 lakh); approximately ₹12 lakh per year for Management Quota (total ~₹58–60 lakh); and approximately ₹20 lakh per year for NRI Quota (total ~₹90 lakh–₹1 crore). Fees are as per Kerala FRC order and subject to revision.
SNIMS is located just 14 km from Cochin International Airport (Nedumbassery), making it one of the most conveniently located medical colleges in Kerala for outstation and international students. It is also about 27 km from Ernakulam city centre and lies between NH 47 and NH 17 at Chalakka.
