Yes. It is mandatory for all first-year MBBS students at SSIMRC to reside in the hostel and be a member of the mess. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.
SSIMRC is located 56.5 km from Kempegowda International Airport (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes by road). It is 18 km from Nelamangala railway station and 9 km from Nelamangala bus stand.
The annual MBBS intake is 150 seats. The college also offers 49 PG (MD/MS) seats across 16 specializations.
The Sri Siddhartha Teaching Hospital, T. Begur is the attached multi-specialty hospital with approximately 1,000 beds, 15 ICU beds equipped with ABG machines, Vein Finders, Defibrillators and Crash Carts, 24×7 emergency and casualty services, ambulance services, pharmacy, and fully equipped operation theatres.
