Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (SSIMRC), located in T. Begur, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, Karnataka, is a private deemed medical college established during the academic year 2019–20. It is a constituent college of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE), a deemed-to-be university based in Tumakuru. SSAHE was founded by the late Sri H.M. Gangadhariah and Dr. G. Shivaprasad, and is currently chaired by Dr. G. Parameshwara, former Minister for Higher Education, Government of Karnataka. The Sri Siddhartha Educational Society (SSES), established in 1959, has grown into a multi-disciplinary educational trust managing 80+ institutions across academic, medical, engineering, dental, and research fields. SSIMRC is SSAHE's second medical college, built to extend the legacy of Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumakuru. Guided by the motto 'Sabbe Loko Hitatthaya' (Let all be Happy and Prosperous), the institute is situated on a 20.31-acre campus on the east side of NH-206 (Bengaluru–Pune Highway), 56.5 km from Kempegowda International Airport and 18 km from Nelamangala railway station. SSIMRC offers 150 MBBS seats and 49 PG (MD/MS) seats across 16 departments. The attached teaching hospital offers multi-specialty care to the community. The college was ranked 54 by India Today for Medicine & Health Sciences in 2024.

Yes. It is mandatory for all first-year MBBS students at SSIMRC to reside in the hostel and be a member of the mess. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.
The Sri Siddhartha Teaching Hospital, T. Begur is the attached multi-specialty hospital with approximately 1,000 beds, 15 ICU beds equipped with ABG machines, Vein Finders, Defibrillators and Crash Carts, 24×7 emergency and casualty services, ambulance services, pharmacy, and fully equipped operation theatres.
Admissions are conducted via MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) Deemed University online counselling based on NEET UG merit. Students must register at mcc.nic.in and select Deemed University option. Three and a half years' bank guarantee is required at admission.
SSIMRC was ranked 54 by India Today for Medicine & Health Sciences in 2024. It is NMC-approved and affiliated to SSAHE Deemed University.
