📝JEE Main

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; minimum 50% aggregate (45% SC/ST); valid JEE Main score.

Admission Process

Appear in JEE Main → Register on Tezpur University admission portal (tezu.ernet.in/adm26) or JoSAA/CSAB for open seats → NE-quota candidates upload Permanent Residence Certificate → Merit List → Counselling → Document Verification → Fee Payment → Reporting

Important Notice

60% of B.Tech seats reserved for permanent residents of North-Eastern states via TU's own application process; remaining 40% open seats filled through central counselling (JoSAA/CSAB) based on JEE Main rank. B.Tech Lateral Entry (Diploma holders, 3rd semester direct entry) admitted through TUEE with 35 supernumerary seats in Civil Engineering and similar quotas in other branches.

Eligibility Criteria

B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point.

Admission Process

GATE-qualified: Apply via CCMT/TU direct portal with valid GATE score → Counselling → Admission. Non-GATE: Appear for Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE, 70% of non-GATE seats) or apply via CUET-PG (30% of non-GATE seats) → Merit List → Admission

Important Notice

Applies to all M.Tech programmes at the School of Engineering. GATE scholars receive AICTE stipend of Rs. 12,400/month.
