Yes. MBBS graduates must complete compulsory rural service post-internship as per Kerala government norms. PG graduates must serve as Senior Residents for 1 year at TMC; penalty for non-compliance is INR 10–25 lakh, and default leads to suspension from future PG allotments.
TMC has 150 MBBS seats annually. 85% are filled via Kerala CEE state quota (including Muslim minority quota) and 15% via MCC All India Quota.
TMC is approximately 60 km from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport and 7 km from Kollam Railway Station. The college is easily accessible via the NH Bypass road.
The annual MBBS tuition fee is INR 8,16,038 for merit/state quota seats as per FRC Kerala (total course fee approximately INR 40.8 lakh for 5 years). NRI quota is approximately INR 25 lakh/year. Hostel and mess charges are additional.
