About TRR Institute of Medical Sciences
TRR Institute of Medical Sciences (TRRIMS), Patancheru, is a private medical college established in 2019 by Sri T. Ram Mohan Reddy under the TRR Group of Institutions (TRRGOI) — a multi-disciplinary educational group founded in 2001 that also operates TRR College of Engineering, TRR Nagar, Inole. Located in Inole Village, Patancheru Mandal, Sangareddy District, Telangana — 18 km from Lingampally Railway Station, 9 km from the Patancheru Centralised Bus Stand, 30+ km from Hyderabad city — the campus is described in multiple sources as spanning between 27 acres (early source) and 100 acres (Careermarg/latest source). It is affiliated with KNRUHS, Warangal, and recognised by NMC with an annual MBBS intake of 150 students. TRRIMS was founded with the mission to provide excellent tertiary medical care and quality medical education to a wide range of society at reasonable cost, with a focus on rural and semi-urban communities of Sangareddy District. The campus is set in a lush green, eco-friendly, and peaceful environment with fully air-conditioned lecture halls, advanced simulation labs, skill development centres, research wings, departmental research labs, demonstration halls with AV aids (LCD, OHP, slide projectors), faculty rooms, and separate recreation rooms for boys and girls in the academic block. The attached teaching hospital is variously described as 360 beds (MNR Teaching Hospital reference, early listing) to 700–750 beds (Careermarg/latest source 2024–25) — reflecting expansion over the college's growth years. The hospital provides 900+ outpatient visits daily, 24×7 emergency and casualty services with ambulances, modular OTs with ICU support, General ICU, PICU, NICU, central lab (Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology), blood bank, and radiology (X-ray, CT, MRI, USG). PG MD/MS courses are in progress/planned for near future; specialty-wise PG seat matrix is published on the NMC dashboard. During NEET UG 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 counselling, 27 candidates received allotment at TRRIMS.
