The M.Pharm programme at UIP offers four specializations — Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry — each approved by both AICTE and PCI, and affiliated to AKTU. These postgraduate programmes run for two years (four semesters) and are tailored to develop in-depth expertise for careers in pharmaceutical research, academia, and the healthcare industry. The combined M.Pharm intake across all specializations stands at 45 seats. The D.Pharm programme, affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow and approved by PCI, is a two-year full-time diploma course with an intake of 60 students. It provides foundational training in pharmacy practice and is a gateway for students aspiring to enter the pharmaceutical sector or pursue higher pharmacy education.
