Step 1: Register for IPU CET 2026 at ipu.ac.in (opens Feb–Mar; exam Apr–May). CET paper: Biology/Biotechnology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics (objective type). Step 2: IPU CET result → GGSIPU online counselling registration (ipu.admissions.nic.in). Step 3: Rank-based seat allotment. Step 4: Document verification at USB (Main Campus, Dwarka). Step 5: Fee payment. Usually only top 45 (Round 1) / top 50 ranks called for counselling due to limited seats. Remaining seats filled in subsequent rounds.

M.Tech Biotechnology: B.Tech (BT/Biochemical) or MSc (Biotech/Life Sciences) with 55%; GATE BT / CSIR NET. PhD: MSc/M.Tech with 55%; UGC NET / CSIR NET / GATE BT.
