10+2 with PCM; minimum 55% each in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics; English compulsory; JEE Main Paper 1 qualified

Admission Process

JEE Main registration → Exam (Jan–Apr) → Result → GGSIPU online registration at ipu.admissions.nic.in (fee Rs. 1,500 + Rs. 1,000 counselling) → Choice filling → Rank-based seat allotment → Document verification at USCET → Fee payment. Multiple counselling rounds. 85% Delhi seats; 15% outside.

Important Notice

Chemical Engineering has one of the lowest JEE Main cutoffs at GGSIPU main campus — excellent opportunity for JEE rank holders in 1–4 lakh range to secure a government engineering degree in Delhi. New specialisation BTech Industrial Chemistry expected from AY 2026-27.
