BAMS admission is based on NEET (UG) scores through the Kerala Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) administered by CEE Kerala at cee.kerala.gov.in for Government/Merit Quota seats (approx. 58 of 63 seats). The remaining 5 are Management Quota seats. PG Ayurveda admission is based on AIAPGET scores through CEE Kerala PG counselling.
The Kerala Ayurvedic Studies and Research Society (KASRS, kasrs.org) is the registered society that administers VPSV Ayurveda College since 1976 (when the Arya Vaidya Samajam was dissolved). Its Governing Body is chaired by the Kerala Health Minister and includes five State Government members plus five nominees of Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal — a unique quasi-public governance model.
