The institute is managed by the Vardhaman Education and Welfare Society (VEWS), founded by Dr. Ratansing Munot. The Society's President is Shri Rajesh R. Munot, and the college also runs Ahinsa Institute of Pharmacy, Ahinsa Institute of Polytechnic, Ahinsa Institute of ITI, and two Ahinsa International Schools under the same group.

The institute is recognised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. It is also recognised by the Maharashtra State CET Cell (College Code 3139) for BAMS admissions through the state Centralised Admission Process.

As per the official 2025-26 Fee Details notice, the first-year BAMS fee is INR 1,78,000 for the Open category, INR 97,091 for OBC/EBC/EWS/SEBC (non-creamy layer), INR 16,182 for NT1/NT2/NT3/VJ/SBC (non-creamy layer), INR 1,500 for SC/ST, and INR 5,34,000 for Institutional Quota seats.
