Step 2: Register on KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea) — registration fee ₹750 for Karnataka candidates; ₹2,500 for non-Karnataka. Step 3: Document verification in-person (Karnataka domicile) or online (non-Karnataka). Step 4: Fill and lock college choices. Step 5: Seat allotment via 2–3 KEA rounds. For 15% AIQ seats: register at MCC portal (mcc.nic.in) separately. Step 6: Report to VIMS with original documents.

MBBS from NMC-recognized institution; 1 year mandatory internship completed by March 31; minimum 50th percentile (40th for SC/ST/OBC); NMC/State Medical Council registration

50% seats via MCC All India Quota counselling (mcc.nic.in). 50% seats via Karnataka KEA State Quota counselling. NEET PG 2024 cutoff for MD General Medicine (General AIQ): AIR ~2,297; OBC AIQ: AIR ~2,297.

MD/MS Degree from NMC-recognized institution in the required specialization; NEET SS qualified (conducted by NBE, New Delhi)
