Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates); final-year students may apply if maintaining the required average, provided all degree exams are completed by 25th June and proof of passing (with the required marks) is submitted by 30th September of the admission year. Candidates with uncleared backlog papers in graduation are not eligible. A valid score in CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT is required, followed by GD-PI.

Same base eligibility as the PGDM programme: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates), plus a valid CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT score and GD-PI; final-year students may apply under the same conditions as above.

Master's degree or equivalent Diploma/M.Phil. from a recognized university with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates, in-service candidates with 5+ years of regular teaching/library/lab experience, or candidates who completed their Master's before 19 September 1991). Requires the University of Mysore Ph.D. Entrance Test (DREAM) or an exemption for candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET (JRF), SLET, GATE, or already hold an entrance-based M.Phil. admission.
