About M.Com

A Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a two-year postgraduate program for B.Com graduates (and, at many universities, graduates from related streams) looking to specialize deeply in accounting, finance, or a related commerce discipline, move into academia and research, or strengthen their profile for finance and corporate roles.

Admission is primarily through CUET PG at central and several state/private universities, with many colleges also admitting directly on the basis of graduation marks. A handful of institutes run their own postgraduate entrance tests for specific tracks. The program covers advanced core subjects and research methodology in the first year, followed by an elective specialization and dissertation in the second.
