How to Check the Bihar UGMAC Round 3 Seat Allotment Result
- Go to bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and open the UGMAC-2026 section under the Download area.
- Click the Round 3 seat allotment result link. One portal report described the link text as 'Second Round Seat Allotment Result of UGMAC (2026)', which looks like a labelling slip, so pick the entry dated 14 October.
- The result opens as a PDF. Press Ctrl+F (or use Find on your phone) and search for your NEET roll number, UGMAC ID or name.
- Check the allotted institute, course, category and seat type against your locked choices.
- Log in to the UGMAC portal and download your allotment letter. You will need the printout at the college.
What the Round 3 Allotment PDF Tells You
The PDF is dense, so it helps to know what to verify. It lists your UGMAC ID, NEET roll and application numbers, NEET AIR and score, name, gender, category, UR rank, category rank, RCG and DQ ranks, plus the allotted institute, course, allotted category, seat type and a remarks column. Check every detail now. A wrong category or rank spotted at the college counter is a much bigger headache than one fixed today.
Reporting Window: What Happens Between 16 and 17 October
Candidates who are happy with their Round 3 seat and do not want to be considered for any upgrade need to report physically to the allotted institute on 16 or 17 October. Carry the originals of everything you uploaded on the portal, along with photocopies, finish document verification and pay the admission fee before the deadline.

How We Got Here: A Quick Recap of NEET UG 2026 and UGMAC
This has been an unusual counselling year. The NEET UG 2026 exam was held on 3 May, cancelled by the NTA on 12 May, and conducted again on 21 June. That pushed everything back. Bihar's UGMAC registration opened on 10 August for Rounds 1 and 2, and the Round 1 allotment, which came out in late August, placed 3,574 MBBS seats. For the unreserved category, the closing rank was 10771 for MBBS and 9884 for BDS in that round.
Round 2 results followed on 22 September, with admissions wrapping up on 25 September. Round 3 then reopened for the seats left over. A secondary report put the Round 3 seat matrix at roughly 679 seats, though you should rely on the official matrix on the BCECEB site for exact category-wise numbers. For context, last year's Round 3 had its own hiccup: the board pulled the 2025 result for a technical error and republished it, so it is worth double-checking that the PDF you are reading is the current one.
Before paying any fee, match the college name, course and seat type on your allotment letter with the official PDF. Only the BCECEB portal is the source of truth.— Counselling Tip
Got a Seat You Like? Got One You Don't? Your Options
- Happy with the seat: download the letter, report on 16 or 17 October, complete verification and pay the fee.
- Seat allotted but you want a better one: read the round 3 instructions carefully for upgrade or non-freeze rules before deciding, because the choice you make at reporting affects your eligibility later.
- No seat allotted: keep an eye on the BCECEB notices for any further round or vacancy process, and look at other states and the national counselling stream in the meantime.
- Not sure where you stand: run your rank through a predictor before you commit to a college.
