Bihar UGMAC AYUSH 2026 Round 2 Registration Starts Oct 10

The BCECEB has extended the Round 2 programme of the Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling for AYUSH, UGMAC (Ayush) 2026, which covers BAMS, BHMS and BUMS admission in government and private AYUSH colleges of Bihar. In two notices Adv. No. 2026/04 and 2026/05, the board said online registration and application-cum-choice filling for Round 2 will start on October 10, 2026, on the official portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, and that an updated seat matrix is already on its website.

Bihar UGMAC AYUSH Round 2: Latest Update

The extension follows a decision to add seven new private homeopathic medical colleges, based on a letter from the Health Department, Bihar, dated October 8, 2026. Round 2 will be held online and will fill the seats that remain vacant after Round 1 admissions, which took place from October 5 to 6, along with the newly added seats. The notice adds that eligibility, fee payment procedure and other instructions remain as set out in the UGMAC (Ayush) 2026 prospectus and in Adv. No. 2026/01 dated September 18, 2026.

Seven New Homeopathic Colleges Added to Round 2

The board has named seven new private homeopathic colleges that now feature in the counselling. They have been added with a condition: each institute must also obtain affiliation for the 2026-27 academic session in accordance with the rules. In the updated Round 2 matrix, these seven colleges appear with a combined 275 vacant BHMS seats, which is nearly half of all vacancies listed.

Updated Seat Matrix: 568 Vacant Seats

The Round 2 vacant seat position on the board's website lists 568 seats across BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. Government colleges account for 50 of these and private colleges for 518. By course, the matrix shows 158 BAMS seats, 345 BHMS seats and 65 BUMS seats, and 528 of the 568 seats are in the unreserved category. The total includes disabled quota seats. The board has cautioned that virtual vacancy may arise because of upgradation by Round 1 candidates, and that a revised matrix will be uploaded if further vacancies arise from resignations.

Steps to Apply for Round 2

Visit the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, and open the Online Portal of UGMAC (Ayush) 2026
New candidates register with the NEET UG 2026 roll number, name and date of birth, then verify through the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and email
Complete the application form, upload the photograph and signature, preview the details, and pay the counselling fee and security deposit online
Candidates who already applied log in with their roll number and password to give consent, and pay any additional amount if their edits require it
Fill or edit choices of course and college in order of preference, keeping in mind that upgradation by Round 1 candidates can create virtual vacancies
Save and lock the choices before 11:59 PM on October 15, then download the choice slip
