Acharya Dhrubasha Ayurveda Medical College, Hospital and Research Center (ADAMCH) is a private Ayurvedic medical institution located in the serene surroundings of Dhrub Nagar, Panch Mile, P.O.-Kamaldah, District Sitamarhi, Bihar - 843322. Established in 2020 under the visionary guidance of the Acharya Dhrubasha Foundation, the college was founded with the goal of reviving Ayurveda's roots in rural Bihar and named after Acharya Dhrubasha, a symbolic figure embodying steadfast wisdom in the Vedic tradition. The institution is affiliated to Bihar University of Health Sciences (BUHS), Patna, and has received the Letter of Permission (LOP) from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) on 18.09.2025 (following the Letter of Intent dated 04.07.2025) to establish a new Ayurvedic medical college with an intake capacity of 60 seats in the UG BAMS programme from the academic session 2025-26 under Section 29 of the NCISM Act, 2020 (Institute ID: AYU0883). The college is led by Chairman Shri Dhrub Kishor Mahto, Director Shri Anshu Kumar, Principal Dr. (Prof.) C.S. Dwivedi, and Administrator Dr. Nitesh Kr. Dwivedi. The campus houses twelve specialized academic departments covering Samhita Siddhanta & Sanskrit, Rachana Sharira, Kriya Sharira, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra & Bhaishajyakalpana, Agada Tantra, Swasthavritta & Yoga, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, and Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga. The institution operates a well-ventilated, spacious library housing approximately 7,800 books, modern internationally-designed classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for all departments, an on-campus herbal garden demonstration room, and a 60-bedded teaching hospital staffed by qualified and experienced medical personnel offering a full range of classical Panchakarma therapies including Snehan, Swedan, Vaman, Virechan, Basti, Nasya, Raktamokshan, Shirodhara, and Shirobasti. As one of the more recently permitted Ayurveda colleges in Bihar, ADAMCH is in the early stages of its academic journey, having admitted its first recorded batch for the 2025-26 session.
