Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 PCB & English; ≥50% marks (General); ≥40% (SC/ST/OBC); NEET UG qualified; age ≥17 by 31 Dec; Indian National or OCI/PIO. Tripura domicile required for state quota seats. Ex-students of AGMC/TMC eligible for state quota regardless of domicile.
Admission Process
Tripura State Quota (75–96 seats): Step 1: Qualify NEET UG. Step 2: Register via DME Tripura / Medical Counselling Committee, Government of Tripura. Step 3: Document upload and verification. Step 4: Fill college preferences. Step 5: Round 1 → Round 2 → Mop-Up Round (3 rounds). Step 6: Report to AGMC, Kunjaban, Agartala – 799006 with originals. North East Quota (10 seats): Via NEET merit list of respective NE state MCC. All India Quota (15 seats): Via MCC (mcc.nic.in). PG Admission: Tripura State PG MD/MS Diploma Counselling conducted by DME Tripura. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up. Fresh registration for Round 2 open for candidates not registered in Round 1 (with mandatory security deposit). Security deposit: ₹25,000 (General); ₹12,500 (SC/ST) via prescribed portal or DD in favour of Director of Medical Education, Agartala, through any nationalized bank (preferably SBI).

Important Notice

Tripura domicile rule applies for state quota MBBS and PG seats. MBBS ex-students of AGMC and TMC eligible for PG state quota regardless of Tripura domicile. In-service Tripura govt employees get incentive marks in NEET PG for state quota PG seats. PG service bond: 3 years compulsory service in Tripura (2 years rural/remote for PG Diploma). Documents required: NEET Score Card, Counselling Registration Certificate, Sponsorship Certificate (if applicable), 8 passport photos, 10th/12th mark sheets and certificates, TC, Migration Certificate, Category Certificate. Private (TMC) seats: ₹2,00,000 security deposit; Govt (AGMC) seats: ₹25,000/₹12,500. Candidates applying for both: ₹2,00,000 deposit only.
