AIIMS Kalyani offers B.Sc. programs in Medical Laboratory Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Radiotherapy Technology, and Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology (all 3-year programs). Admission is via the AIIMS BSc Paramedical common entrance exam. For 2026, the registration deadline is April 24, 2026, and the exam will be held on July 4, 2026. Eligibility requires 10+2 (Science) with PCB/PCM and a minimum of 55% aggregate. Note: no hostel accommodation is provided for B.Sc. Paramedical students.
The AIIMS Kalyani teaching hospital is a 960-bed super-specialty facility with 360 currently operational inpatient beds, 18 ICU beds, and modular operation theatres. The OPD has been operational since 2021 covering General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Psychiatry, and other specialties. The IPD launched in 2024. A NEET score of 660+ marks is generally needed for General category candidates to be competitive.
The total MBBS fee at AIIMS Kalyani for the entire 5.5-year program (4.5 years + 1 year internship) is approximately ₹9,500, making it among the most affordable medical colleges in India.
