KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with Physics and Mathematics compulsory; Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as optional; minimum 45% aggregate; Karnataka domicile candidate
Admission Process
Students appear for KCET conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Seat allotment via KEA online counselling in multiple rounds. KCET 2026 exam scheduled for April 23–24, 2026.

Important Notice

KCET 2024 GM category closing ranks ranged from 36,377 (CSE, Round 1) to 1,04,880 (Civil, Round 1). KCET 2025 overall GM range: 38,936–1,94,179.

Required Entrance Exams

COMEDK UGET

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry; minimum 45% aggregate; open to all India candidates
Admission Process
Students appear for COMEDK UGET. Seat allotment via COMEDK online counselling. COMEDK 2026 registration expected in February 2026.

Important Notice

COMEDK 2024 GM closing ranks: CSE ~29,096; AI&ML ~40,084; Aeronautical ~58,659; Civil ~71,881. COMEDK 2025 BE range: 62,210–69,322.

Required Entrance Exams

Management Quota / Direct Admission

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with Physics and Mathematics; minimum 45% aggregate; entrance exam not mandatory for management quota
Admission Process
Direct application to college. No entrance exam required. Selection based on 10+2 marks and document verification. 50% tuition fee concession available for Karnataka students scoring 90–100% in qualifying exam.

Important Notice

Management quota seats: approximately 25% of total intake per branch. Management quota fees considerably higher than KCET/COMEDK quota. Contact college at +91-99020-44114 for current management quota fees.

Eligibility Criteria
BE/B.Tech in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks; valid GATE/PGCET score
Admission Process
Karnataka PGCET counselling via KEA for PGCET-admitted students. GATE 2026 result released; PGCET 2026 registration expected in last week of April 2026.

Important Notice

M.Tech offered in 5 specializations. PGCET 2024 closing rank for M.Tech: 3,206–6,295; 2025: 4,293–8,338.

Eligibility Criteria
Any bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks; valid management entrance exam score
