AIET operates a dedicated Loan & Scholarship Cell to help eligible students access central and state government scholarship schemes as well as education loans from partner banks. Since AIET is a self-financing private institute governed by AICTE, BPUT and SCTE&VT norms, most scholarship support available to its students flows through Government of Odisha and Government of India schemes - such as post-matric scholarships for SC/ST/OBC students, and merit-based state scholarships - rather than through large institutional endowments of the college's own.

Scholarships and Financial Aid at AIET
The institute additionally operates a dedicated SC & ST Cell to support students belonging to these categories with scholarship applications, grievance redressal, and general academic guidance, reflecting AIET's efforts to make technical education accessible to students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Since the availability, eligibility and value of these government-run schemes can change from year to year, prospective and current students are encouraged to consult the Loan & Scholarship Cell directly, and to check the National Scholarship Portal and the Government of Odisha's scholarship portals for the schemes currently open and applicable to their category and programme at AIET.
Beyond formal scholarships, AIET's Loan & Scholarship Cell also assists students in identifying and applying for education loans from nationalised and private banks to help cover tuition and hostel fees, a route many students at private, self-financing engineering colleges in India rely on given the relatively limited scale of institution-specific scholarship funding compared to large, well-endowed private universities. Given that fee structures at AIET are already positioned as comparatively affordable (with total B.Tech tuition between Rs. 4 lakh and Rs. 4.30 lakh across four years), most students are able to plan their financing through a combination of family resources, applicable government scholarships, and, where required, an education loan facilitated through the Loan & Scholarship Cell, rather than depending on a single large scholarship award.
Students admitted under state-quota seats through OJEE counselling may also be eligible for Odisha-specific fee concessions or reimbursement schemes tied to their category, in line with the state government's broader technical-education policy for private engineering colleges; these are typically administered directly by the state's technical education department rather than by AIET, though the institute's Loan & Scholarship Cell can guide applicants on the correct portal and documentation required. Prospective students are encouraged to raise scholarship and financing queries early in the admission process, ideally at the time of counselling or shortly after reporting to the institute, so that any applicable government scheme can be applied for within its notified deadline for that academic year.
