Admission to BAMS at Ashwini Ayu College Davangere is conducted through NEET UG merit via KEA Karnataka AYUSH NEET Counselling (85% of seats across State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota) and AACCC-UG (15% All India Quota). Admission to MD Kayachikitsa and MS Shalya Tantra PG programmes is through AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) via KEA Karnataka AIAPGET Counselling and AACCC-PG. In addition to the KEA/AACCC process, the college also accepts offline and online applications directly for both UG and PG admissions.

For Out-of-State / non-Karnataka students: must attach Eligibility Certificate (EC) from RGUHS Bangalore along with the application, and also provide Migration Certificate. BAMS & MD/MS Admission 2025-26 at Ashwini Ayu College Davangere – Eligibility, Process & Documents
BAMS Eligibility Criteria – Ashwini Ayu College Davangere 2025-26
- Must have passed 2nd PUC / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects with English.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for General / OBC-NCL candidates. Minimum 40% for SC, ST, Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Karnataka reserved category candidates.
- Must be at least 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Must have qualified the NEET UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Out-of-state / non-Karnataka students must attach an Eligibility Certificate (EC) from RGUHS Bangalore and a Migration Certificate when reporting to the college.
MD/MS Eligibility Criteria – Ashwini Ayu College Davangere 2025-26
- Must hold a BAMS degree or equivalent from a University and College approved by CCIM / NCISM, New Delhi.
- Must have completed the one-year compulsory rotatory internship by 31st July of the year of admission.
- Must have qualified the AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test conducted by NTA/NBE).
- Minimum 50th percentile in AIAPGET for General / OBC-NCL candidates; 40th percentile for SC / ST / OBC / PwD candidates.
- Must hold a valid KAUP Board Registration.
- Must not already hold a PG degree (MD/MS) in any Ayurvedic specialisation.
