Admission to BAMS at Ashwini Ayu College Davangere is conducted through NEET UG merit via KEA Karnataka AYUSH NEET Counselling (85% of seats across State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota) and AACCC-UG (15% All India Quota). Admission to MD Kayachikitsa and MS Shalya Tantra PG programmes is through AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) via KEA Karnataka AIAPGET Counselling and AACCC-PG. In addition to the KEA/AACCC process, the college also accepts offline and online applications directly for both UG and PG admissions.

Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG (NTA) for BAMS; AIAPGET (NTA/NBE) for MD/MS Ayurveda

Eligibility Criteria
BAMS: 10+2/2nd PUC with PCB; minimum 50% in PCB aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC Karnataka reserved categories); minimum age 17 years by 31st December; qualify NEET UG. MD/MS: BAMS degree; internship completed by 31st July; qualify AIAPGET; minimum 50th percentile (40th for reserved); KAUP Board registration required; must not already hold a PG degree in Ayurveda.
Admission Process
UG BAMS: Step 1 – Qualify NEET UG (NTA). Step 2 – Register on KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/) for Karnataka quota (State / Management / NRI) or on AACCC-UG portal (aaccc.gov.in) for 15% AIQ. Step 3 – Pay Online Security Money. Step 4 – Document verification (online or at KEA office Bangalore). Step 5 – Online choice filling — select Ashwini Ayu College Davangere (BAMS). Options entered in Round 1 carry forward to Round 2; only reshuffling allowed, no fresh additions. Step 6 – Seat Allotment result. Step 7 – Fee payment and collection of allotment order. Step 8 – Report to college with originals. For Out-of-State / non-Karnataka students: must attach Eligibility Certificate (EC) from RGUHS Bangalore along with the application, and also provide Migration Certificate. Documents required at time of reporting: NEET UG/AIAPGET Admit Card and Score Card; SSLC/10th marks card and certificate; 2nd PUC/12th marks card and certificate; KEA registration printout with security money payment proof; Income and Caste Certificate; Transfer Certificate/Leaving Certificate; Aadhaar card of candidate and parents; 12 passport-size photographs (white background); Out-of-State/CBSE Migration; KEA Bank Challan; KEA Allotment Letter; KAUP Board Registration (for PG candidates); BAMS Degree Certificate (for PG candidates); Internship Completion Certificate (for PG candidates).

BAMS & MD/MS Admission 2025-26 at Ashwini Ayu College Davangere – Eligibility, Process & Documents

BAMS Eligibility Criteria – Ashwini Ayu College Davangere 2025-26

  • Must have passed 2nd PUC / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects with English.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for General / OBC-NCL candidates. Minimum 40% for SC, ST, Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Karnataka reserved category candidates.
  • Must be at least 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Must have qualified the NEET UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Out-of-state / non-Karnataka students must attach an Eligibility Certificate (EC) from RGUHS Bangalore and a Migration Certificate when reporting to the college.

MD/MS Eligibility Criteria – Ashwini Ayu College Davangere 2025-26

  • Must hold a BAMS degree or equivalent from a University and College approved by CCIM / NCISM, New Delhi.
  • Must have completed the one-year compulsory rotatory internship by 31st July of the year of admission.
  • Must have qualified the AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test conducted by NTA/NBE).
  • Minimum 50th percentile in AIAPGET for General / OBC-NCL candidates; 40th percentile for SC / ST / OBC / PwD candidates.
  • Must hold a valid KAUP Board Registration.
  • Must not already hold a PG degree (MD/MS) in any Ayurvedic specialisation.
