Autonomous State Medical College, Lalitpur (ASMC Lalitpur), also known as Autonomous Government Medical College and Hospital Lalitpur, is a government medical college established in 2024 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Located on a 26-acre campus at Amarpur, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh – 284403, the college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). With 100 NMC-approved MBBS seats, ASMC Lalitpur is the only medical college in Lalitpur district, catering to the healthcare education needs of the Bundelkhand region in south-western Uttar Pradesh. The attached multi-specialty teaching hospital with 300–350 beds provides clinical exposure across General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Radiology, ENT, and Ophthalmology. The 26-acre student-centred campus features smart classrooms, modern academic laboratories, a departmental library, central library with e-resources, simulation and skill labs, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The college follows NMC's Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum and is focused on developing skilled, compassionate, and community-oriented medical professionals to address the critical healthcare deficit in the Lalitpur-Bundelkhand region. Admissions are through NEET-UG via DMET UP state counselling and MCC All India Quota.
