Autonomous State Medical College, Pilibhit (ASMC Pilibhit) is a government medical college established in 2024 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Located on Tanakpur Road, Ekta Nagar, Pilibhit – 262001, Uttar Pradesh, the college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). With 100 NMC-approved MBBS seats, ASMC Pilibhit is the only medical college in Pilibhit district, providing quality medical education to aspirants from the Pilibhit-Rohilkhand region of northern Uttar Pradesh. The attached government teaching hospital (330-bed) provides comprehensive clinical training across General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and other specialties, with consistent patient inflow from Pilibhit and surrounding districts. The modern campus features smart classrooms with digital learning tools, equipped laboratories, an extensive medical library subscribing to national and international journals, and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with single, double, and triple occupancy. A 2-year rural service bond (penalty ₹10 lakh) applies to all graduates. The campus is 43 km from Bareilly Airport, ensuring good connectivity.
