Yes, BMCRI provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students. Boys' hostels are named Bheema, Varuna, and Thunga. The girls' hostel is named Kaveri. Rooms are on a sharing basis (3 students per room for MBBS students). Hostels are equipped with mess facilities, Wi-Fi, gymnasium access, and 24-hour electricity. The hostel room rent is extremely nominal (approximately ₹500/year), with mess charges extra.
Admission to MBBS at BMCRI is based on NEET UG scores. 85% of seats are filled through Karnataka state quota via KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) counselling, while the remaining 15% are filled through All India Quota (AIQ) via MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling. Candidates must qualify NEET UG, register on the respective portals (kea.kar.nic.in or mcc.nic.in), fill choices, and get seats allotted based on merit.
