10+2 / 2nd PUC with PCB and English; minimum 50% in PCB aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC Karnataka reserved categories); minimum age 17 years by 31st December of admission year; must qualify NEET UG. Graduates with Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology also eligible with valid Physics equivalence certificate.
Admission Process
Step 1 – Qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA. Step 2 – For 15% AIQ seats: Register on AACCC-UG portal at aaccc.gov.in. For 85% Karnataka Quota (State / Management / NRI): Register on KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ or kea.kar.nic.in under UG AYUSH NEET section. Step 3 – Pay Online Security Money on KEA portal. Step 4 – Document upload and verification (online or at KEA office Bangalore). Step 5 – Online choice filling (option entry): Select BPMAMCH Humnabad (BAMS, KEA Code: I700) among choices. Choices in Round 1 carry forward to Round 2; only reshuffling allowed, no fresh additions. Step 6 – Seat Allotment Result: Choose one of four options — (a) Satisfied – join and exit all further rounds; (b) Satisfied – join and participate in next round; (c) Not Satisfied – surrender and participate in next round; (d) Withdraw completely. Step 7 – Pay fees via e-Challan or online; collect allotment order. Step 8 – Report to Basavaraj Patil Memorial AMC Hospital & Research Centre, NH-65, Veerabhadragiri, Near Sindenkera Cross, Humnabad, Bidar – 585330, with all original documents on or before stipulated date. KEA conducts 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.

KEA Code for BPMAMCH: I700. NCISM Code: AYU0844. RGUHS Code: A281. KEA NEET UG 2025 State Merit List released 4th July 2025. Round 1 Registration reopened 7th–17th July 2025. Round 1 Seat Allotment tentatively expected 4th August 2026; Choice Exercise: 5th–7th August 2026. Examination schedule at BPMAMCH: RGUHS exam at completion of each professional year; supplementary exams once every 6 months; internal assessment exams 2 times per professional (every 5-6 months). Pass criteria: minimum 50% marks separately in Theory and Practical of each subject; both Theory and Practical must be passed together. Student failed in more than 2 subjects is NOT eligible to keep terms; students failed in 1 or 2 subjects are promoted to the next phase but must pass all subjects of the previous phase before appearing in the next phase exam. Documents required at time of reporting: NEET UG 2025 Admit Card and Score Card; SSLC/10th Marks Card and Certificate; 2nd PUC/12th Marks Card and Certificate; Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable); Transfer Certificate; Aadhaar Card; Passport-size photographs; KEA Bank Challan; KEA Allotment Letter.

A dedicated and well-equipped Panchakarma unit offering all classical Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation procedures: Vamana (emesis therapy), Virechana (purgation therapy), Basti Karma (medicated enema), Nasya Karma (nasal administration), Raktamokshana (blood-letting), Shirodhara, along with various Snehana (oil therapies) and Swedana (steam therapies). BPMAMCH is managed by HKDET – the Hyderabad Karnataka Development Education Trust, Humnabad. The Chief Trustee is Dr. Chandrashekar B. Patil (MBBS, MLC – Government of Karnataka), son of the late Shri Basavaraj H. Patil in whose memory the institution was established. The trust also manages Rajarajeshwari Ayurvedic Medical College, a Dental College, Shakuntala Patil Residential School, a Polytechnic, D.Pharma College, B.Ed., and M.Ed. College.

BPMAMCH has a sanctioned BAMS intake capacity of 100 seats as approved by NCISM / CCIM, Ministry of AYUSH — one of the largest intake capacities among private Ayurvedic colleges in Karnataka. Of these, approximately 15 seats (15%) are filled through AACCC-UG All India Quota counselling, and the remaining 85 seats are filled through KEA Karnataka AYUSH NEET Counselling across State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota.

The current Principal of BPMAMCH is Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Mallappa Gharwade (BAMS, MD Ayurveda), born on 3rd June 1985, bearing Teacher Code AYRS00305. He joined BPMAMCH as Professor in the Department of Rachana Sharir on 5th August 2025 and assumed the position of Principal from 1st December 2026. His prior experience includes positions as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at S.B. Siddhaling Shivacharrya Swamiji Ayurvedic Medical College, Mundargi, Gadag (2014–2025).
