Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), Sagar, established in 2007 as the sixth government medical college of Madhya Pradesh, is a fully state-funded institution serving the healthcare and medical education needs of the Bundelkhand region. Affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (MPMSU), Jabalpur, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), BMC admitted its first MBBS batch in 2009. Located at Shivaji Ward, Tili Road, Sagar, the college has a spacious campus with modern academic buildings, lecture halls, a central library, virtual classroom facilities, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The attached BMC Hospital is a 750+ bed tertiary care teaching hospital providing 24x7 emergency services and comprehensive healthcare to patients from Sagar and the Bundelkhand region. BMC currently admits 125 MBBS students annually and offers postgraduate MD/MS programs across 17 specialties in 11 disciplines with 35 PG seats. B.Sc Nursing is also offered.
