About C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing), Noida

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a premier R&D and advanced computing training organization of the Government of India under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Established in 1988, C-DAC was founded to build India's first supercomputer (PARAM series). The Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) was set up in 1993 and has since trained 3 lakh+ IT professionals. C-DAC Noida is located in Sector 62 — the IT hub of Noida — and is one of C-DAC's premier training centres. It is part of C-DAC's Noida CCPP region (along with Mohali and New Delhi) for centralized campus placements. IMPORTANT UPDATE (2025-26): C-DAC's PG Diploma courses have been REBRANDED as Post Graduate Certificate Programmes (PGCP). For example, PG-DAC is now PGCP-AC. Courses are now 24-week / 1200-hour (including 300 hours self-study) full-time programmes of 40 credits aligned to NSQF Level 6, NCVET approved. Previously they were 900-hour PG Diploma courses. C-DAC currently offers 12 PGCP courses across 2 C-CAT categories (Category II and III). Admission is through C-CAT conducted TWICE a year (January for February batch; July for August batch). Fees range from Rs.84,150 (PGCP-AC online) to Rs.1,50,000 (PGCP-AI physical) + GST. More than 400 companies participated in C-DAC campus placements in 2024 and 2025. Highest package at Noida: Rs.18 LPA; average: Rs.5-7 LPA; lowest: Rs.3.50 LPA. C-DAC Noida conducts courses in both online and physical modes. No hostel facility at C-DAC Noida — students arrange accommodation in Sector 62 area independently.
