CAMC is approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India and is affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences & Ayush University of Chhattisgarh (PDUMHSAU), Raipur. The college maintains the highest standard of teaching and training in the Ayurvedic system blended with a modern outlook, and has a track record of producing meritorious graduates, postgraduates, and medical officers who have achieved high success in their professional lives. CAMC offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, a 5.5-year course inclusive of a mandatory one-year clinical internship, with an annual intake of 70 students. Admission is conducted through the Chhattisgarh Ayush NEET Counselling, managed by the Directorate of Ayush, Government of Chhattisgarh, based on the candidate's NEET-UG score. The college has well-qualified and experienced faculty members across all Ayurvedic subjects including Samhita & Siddhant, Rachana Sharir, Kriya Sharir, Dravyaguna, Ras Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, Rognidan & Vikriti Vigyan, Swasthavritta & Yoga, Agad Tantra & Vidhi Vaidyak, Kaya Chikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti Evam Stri Roga, and Kaumarbhritya. CAMC offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, a 5.5-year course (4.5 years academic plus 1 year mandatory internship) with an annual intake of 70 seats.
CAMC is affiliated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences & Ayush University of Chhattisgarh (PDUMHSAU), Raipur, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
Admission is based on NEET-UG score through the Chhattisgarh Ayush NEET Counselling conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Ayush Society. Candidates must register at cgayush.admissions.nic.in for State Quota and/or All India Quota seats.
The total tuition fee for the complete BAMS programme is approximately ₹5,77,418 (around ₹1,28,315 per year for the 4.5-year academic duration). A one-time admission payment of ₹30,000 is also applicable.
