Admission Process at DBS Global University, Dehradun
For undergraduate programmes such as BBA, B.Com, BA and B.Sc. (Hons.), candidates with a minimum 80% average across 4 core Class 12 subjects, or a CUET (UG) percentile of 60 and above, are exempted from the online interview; candidates below this threshold must appear for an online interview for screening. For the integrated BA LLB/BBA LLB programme, the exemption threshold is a slightly lower 75% average in 4 core subjects, or a CLAT/CUET (UG) percentile of 60 and above.
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
- Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (for PG and law programmes)
- Valid entrance scorecard where applicable (CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT/GRE for MBA; JEE Main for B.Tech; CLAT/CUET/AILET/SAT for Law)
- Category/domicile certificate, where applicable for domicile-linked scholarships
- Passport-size photographs and identity proof
- Application fee payment confirmation
The university runs both an Early Admission window (generally applicable until around 1 June, or Class 12 result declaration, whichever is earlier) and a Regular Admission process after board results are declared; candidates who do not clear the early-decision threshold are automatically considered under the regular process. Applicants should review the current fee structure and check available scholarship options before finalising their application, since scholarship amounts are calculated on the first-year tuition fee only.
For B.Tech admissions, valid JEE Main scores are considered alongside the university's own merit-based entrance route, while Law programmes (BA LLB/BBA LLB and LLM) accept CLAT, AILET, SAT or CUET scores in addition to the university's entrance and interview process. Ph.D. admission across all schools follows the university's own Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) and interview route. Details on the institute's accreditation and approval status can help students evaluate DGU before enrolling.
