GMC Ratlam has a total of 1,350 teaching beds — comprising 600 beds in the attached district hospital and 750 beds in the newly constructed Medical College Hospital. This makes it one of the largest teaching hospital setups among new government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

After MBBS, graduates must serve 1 year in rural/government health services in MP. Non-compliance penalty: ₹10 lakh (General/EWS); ₹5 lakh (SC/ST/OBC). Scholarship holders: 2-year bond, ₹10 lakh penalty.
