Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College (RKGMC), Hamirpur is a government medical college established in 2018 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, named after India's second President and renowned scholar Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. It is affiliated with Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), HP and recognised by NMC. Situated in Agriculture Colony, Hamirpur along the Hamirpur-Nadaun Road, the campus covers 22.5 acres. The college admits 120 MBBS students annually (15 AIQ + 102 State Quota + 3 EWS) and is part of the HP Government's initiative to expand medical education in the state. The attached 350-bed teaching hospital provides 24×7 emergency care, Eye Bank, Blood Bank and comprehensive tertiary healthcare. 12 DNB seats are available. Being a newer college (2018), the college is expanding its infrastructure with a modern campus under development. MBBS fee is ~₹40,000/year (highly subsidised).
