ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Varanasi (ESIC MCH Varanasi) is a central government medical college established in 2005 under the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Affiliated with the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS BHU), Varanasi, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), ESIC MCH Varanasi offers 50 MBBS seats annually. The college is located at Pandeypur, Shivpur, Varanasi – 221002, approximately 18 km from Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. The attached ESIC hospital is a fully functional multi-specialty hospital serving ESI-insured workers and the general public in and around Varanasi, providing 24x7 emergency services, OPD, IPD, and comprehensive specialist care. ESIC MCH Varanasi follows the unique ESIC quota system for admissions — with All India Quota (via MCC), State Quota, and a dedicated ESIC Insured Persons (IP) Quota for wards of ESI-insured employees.
