Required Entrance Exams

NEET UG

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; 50% aggregate (General/EWS/OBC); 40% for SC/ST; NEET UG qualified; min 17 years of age; IP Quota: must be ward of ESIC-registered Insured Person with valid Ward of IP Certificate from ESIC Regional Director
Admission Process
Step 1: Qualify NEET UG 2025 or 2026. Step 2: Register on GGSIPU counselling portal (ipu.admissions.nic.in) for Delhi State Quota; OR register on MCC portal (mcc.nic.in) for AIQ seats. Step 3: For IP Quota — apply separately via ESIC's official IP Quota counselling with Ward of IP Certificate, ESIC IP number, and all required documents (Annexure 3A or 3B as applicable). Step 4: Fill college preferences including ESIC Medical College Basaidarapur. Step 5: Seat allotment per NEET rank, category, and quota. Step 6: Report to ESIC MC&H Basaidarapur within deadline. Step 7: Pay fees online. Step 8: Complete admission formalities with original documents.

Important Notice

MBBS LOP was granted for 50 seats in AY 2025-26. This is a NEW programme — first batch only. Confirmed from official ESIC website (mcbasaidarapur.esic.gov.in): 'The institute has been accorded a letter of permission by NMC for admitting first batch of 50 MBBS students in 2025.' ESIC IP Quota (Insured Person Quota) is a UNIQUE feature: children of ESI-registered workers get preferential access to ESIC medical college seats. Eligibility for Ward of IP: ESIC Act 1948 Section 2(11)(iii) — as defined at the last date of NEET UG application submission.

MBBS with completed internship; valid NEET PG score; NMC registration
Admission Process
50% AIQ seats via MCC NEET PG counselling. 50% Internal Quota (GGSIPU/ESIC internal) also via MCC as per ESIC/GGSIPU norms. Both quotas managed through MCC. Multiple rounds. Documents required: NEET PG scorecard, MBBS certificates, internship completion certificate, NMC registration, photo ID.

Important Notice

ESIC MD/MS graduates get preferential employment at ESIC hospitals across India. No compulsory rural bond — ESIC hospitals encourage (not legally bind) their graduates to join ESIC service. PG stipend per Central Government Junior Residency Scheme — uniform across all ESIC states.
