GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Junagadh is a premier government-society medical institution established in 2015 under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS), which was formed by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat. The college received its Letter of Permission from the Medical Council of India (now the National Medical Commission) for the academic year 2015-16, and its first MBBS batch commenced studies in that year.
